This notice explains the cookies and similar technologies used on the Allied Response Group website. Optional analytics remains off unless you choose to accept it.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored by a website in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, which can remember a preference on your device. The rules apply to both where information is stored or accessed on your device.
2. Technologies used
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
arg_cookie_consent_v1 | Allied Response Group | Local browser storage used to remember whether you accepted or rejected analytics and the policy version. | Necessary | 6 months |
_ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes website users for analytics reporting. | Optional analytics | Up to 2 years, subject to browser limits and our settings |
_ga_<container-id> | Google Analytics | Maintains session state for the relevant GA4 property. | Optional analytics | Up to 2 years, subject to browser limits and our settings |
Our hosting provider may process technical request logs for security and delivery. Server logs are not browser cookies, but they may include an IP address and are explained in the Privacy Notice.
3. Google Analytics
If you accept analytics, we intend to use Google Analytics 4 to understand matters such as page use, traffic sources, device and browser types, approximate location and website interactions. This helps us improve the site and assess whether information is useful.
Google Analytics is treated as optional. The Google tag is not requested and analytics cookies are not set before you accept. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising on this website and will not link the property to Google Ads without updating this notice and the consent choices.
4. Choosing and changing your preference
When Analytics is enabled, the banner offers equally available choices to accept or reject analytics. Rejecting analytics does not prevent you from using the website or enquiry form.
If you withdraw consent, the website records your new choice, requests that analytics storage stop and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies for this site. You may also delete cookies using your browser controls. A withdrawal does not undo processing that occurred while consent was valid.
5. Necessary storage
The preference record is necessary to respect your choice and avoid repeatedly asking on every page. It is not used for advertising or analytics. If you clear browser storage or use a different browser or device, the website will ask again.
6. Changes
We will update the table if we introduce another cookie, tag, embedded service or tracking technology. If a change materially affects your choice, we will ask again.
